Private by design
Melloba is built around a simple idea: you should understand exactly what happens to your data, and you should stay in control of it. Here is the plain-language version.
At every step
When you set up your child, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian and that you consent to Melloba recording and processing these moments. After that, Melloba only analyses a recording when you make one in the app, upload one, or share one in.
Melloba uses each recording to produce your report. The audio file is deleted once Melloba has finished with it. What stays is the report and the results behind it — including short quoted moments used as evidence for Learning Ability, Thinking Skills and Curiosity — until you delete your account.
You can delete your account from Settings in the app. This permanently removes your account and everything in it — your child's profile, recordings and insights — and it cannot be undone.
PlannedThere is not yet a way to delete a single report on its own.
Everything travels over encrypted connections, recordings are stored encrypted, and access is limited by design. Security is treated as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time checkbox.
Melloba asks for your child's age range, from which it keeps an approximate month of birth — never an exact date — and, if you like, a nickname. It also records your relationship to your child when you give consent. It avoids building a fuller profile than the product requires.
You decide what to record and what to share with Melloba. Your data is not for sale, it is not shared for research unless you choose to allow it (that option is off by default), and Melloba does not show third-party advertising inside the experience.
