Descriptive, never diagnostic
Record an ordinary moment with your child — in Melloba, or with your phone's own recorder — and share it to Melloba. You get a clear, visual report of what happened between you. It describes the interaction; it does not diagnose, and it never gives your child an overall score.
Melloba is a parenting-support tool for reflection. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or risk prediction.
How it works
From a real moment to a report you can come back to.
Record a natural moment with your child — playing, reading, talking — in the Melloba app, or with the recorder you already use. There is nothing to set up or perform. Ordinary is exactly what Melloba is designed for.
On Android, share an audio recording into Melloba from another app, or choose one from your phone with Upload a recording. Melloba checks it is a supported audio file before anything is sent.
The recording travels over an encrypted connection. AI turns it into text, and Melloba's own sound analysis works out when each of you was speaking. Everything Melloba measures is then worked out by its own fixed rules, the same way every time.
A conversation timeline shows how the talking moved through the recording, and a two-colour ring shows how it was shared between you. The audio file is deleted once Melloba has finished with it.

Learning Ability, Thinking Skills and Curiosity each appear on their own — three petals from one base, never added up into a score.
Once a dimension has been measured in at least three earlier recordings, it can show a level — Smart, Growing or Emerging — describing that conversation against your own child's earlier ones. Until then, Melloba shows that it is building your baseline.
Learning Ability, Thinking Skills, and Curiosity are interaction-based insights from the recorded conversation. They are not measures of intelligence or clinical assessments.

After you speak, pause a little longer. It leaves room for your child to take a turn.
Every report is kept in your child's History, so you can reopen it later. Once levels start to appear, a Journey can show your recent conversations side by side, each with its three dimensions.
Only real recordings appear. Nothing is filled in or projected.

Privacy & trust
Melloba is built to support reflection, not to label children. Here is what that means in practice.
When you set up your child, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian and that you consent to Melloba recording and processing these moments.
Nothing is shared for research unless you choose to allow it. That option is off by default.
The audio file is deleted once Melloba has finished with it.
Your reports, and the results and short quoted moments behind them, are kept until you delete your account.
Deleting your account from Settings permanently removes it and everything in it — your child's profile, recordings and insights.
Everything travels over encrypted connections, and recordings are stored encrypted.
An age range, kept as an approximate month of birth — never an exact date — and a nickname if you like.
Melloba describes interactions. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and every measurement has limitations that we state plainly.
No overall score, no intelligence rating, and no ranking against other children.

Melloba starts small on purpose: a report worth opening, trust earned one family at a time. Over the years, we want it to become a private, parent-controlled record of how your conversations grow — something you open out of curiosity, not worry.
We will judge ourselves by whether families' conversations become richer, and never by making parents more anxious.
Melloba lives on your phone. The app is the product — this site is just here to explain it.
