How it works
Melloba is the analysis layer for everyday moments with your child. You record them however suits you, share them to Melloba, and Melloba turns each one into a clear, visual report.
Record a natural moment with your child — playing, reading, talking — in the Melloba app, or with the recorder you already use. There is nothing to set up or perform. Ordinary is exactly what Melloba is designed for.
On Android, share an audio recording into Melloba from another app, or choose one from your phone with Upload a recording. Melloba checks it is a supported audio file before anything is sent.
The recording travels over an encrypted connection. AI turns it into text, and Melloba's own sound analysis works out when each of you was speaking. Everything Melloba measures is then worked out by its own fixed rules, the same way every time. How the conversation flowed — who talked, the turns, the replies — comes from who spoke when, not from what the words mean.
The audio file is deleted once Melloba has finished with it.
A conversation timeline shows how the talking moved through the recording. A two-colour ring shows how the talking was shared between you. Learning Ability, Thinking Skills and Curiosity each appear on their own.
Every report suggests one simple thing to try next — something to do together, never a statement about your child.
After you speak, pause a little longer. It leaves room for your child to take a turn.
Every report is kept in your child's History, so you can reopen it later. Once a dimension has been measured in at least three earlier recordings, it can show a level — Smart, Growing or Emerging — describing that conversation against your own child's earlier ones. Once levels start to appear, a Journey can show your recent conversations side by side, each with its three dimensions.
Only real recordings appear. Nothing is filled in or projected.
A note on interpretation
Melloba describes interactions; it does not evaluate your child or predict outcomes.
Reports are meant to support your own reflection and, where you choose, conversations with the professionals who know your family.
