Pre-release version
Melloba is not yet publicly available. This disclaimer describes how Melloba works today. It will be reviewed and finalised before public launch, and any changes will be posted here with a new date.
Not medical advice
Melloba provides descriptive observations of everyday parent–child interactions to support reflection. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or risk prediction.
No diagnosis or prediction
Melloba does not diagnose any condition, assess whether a child is developing "correctly", or predict future outcomes. It does not label children as ahead or behind, it never gives a child an overall score, and it never compares children with each other.
Learning Ability, Thinking Skills, and Curiosity are interaction-based insights from the recorded conversation. They are not measures of intelligence or clinical assessments. Where a level such as Smart, Growing or Emerging is shown, it describes one dimension of one conversation, compared only with your own child's earlier recordings.
Measurements have limitations
Reports are based on limited recordings and are affected by context, audio quality, and many everyday factors. They should be read as descriptive reflections, not conclusions.
Speak with professionals
If you have any concern about your child's health, development, or wellbeing, please consult a qualified healthcare or developmental professional. Do not rely on Melloba in place of professional judgement, and never disregard professional advice because of something you read in the app.
In an emergency
Melloba is not for emergencies. If you believe a child is in danger or needs urgent help, contact local emergency services immediately.
